TLM-2.0 in SystemVerilog

چکیده
Transaction-level modeling (TLM) is a methodology for building models at high levels of abstraction, those above RTL. TLM-2.0 is a library that contains classes that implements a methodology for building transaction-level models in systemC and connecting them together. It was developed by OSCI and released in 2009 and is now on its way to becoming an IEEE standard as part of IEEE-1666-2011. In order to support new use models in SystemVerilog, a translation of TLM-2.0 is now included in UVM. This paper will describe the translation of TLM-2.0 from SystemC to SystemVerilog.

SystemVerilog Meets C++: Re-use of Existing C/C++ Models Just Got Easier
The OVM and VMM methodologies each provide powerful, flexible and intuitive frameworks for the construction of SystemVerilog verification environments. However, many SystemVerilog users also have models written in C, C++, or sometimes SystemC. Furthermore, the emergence of the SystemC TLM-1 and TLM-2.0 transaction-level modeling standards is having an impact on communication styles within Syste...
متن کاملESL Design Methodology for Architecture Exploration using OSCI TLM-2.0 Standard
We present a methodology for design of complex digital systems at system level through a training video. After the introduction to SystemC and TLM-2.0, the video explains a number of design sub-levels and guidelines for design at each sub-level. A test data compression system is implemented as a case study using OSCI TLM 2.0 standard. .
متن کاملMapping Actor-Oriented Models to TLM Architectures
Actor-oriented modeling approaches are convenient for implementing functional models of embedded systems. Architectural models for heterogeneous system-on-chip architectures, however, are usually implemented using transaction level modeling (TLM). Even though both modeling paradigms, actor-oriented design and TLM, can conveniently be implemented using a common language such as SystemC, a method...
